ANTHONY D. AMICANGIOLI

Founder, President and CEO

Anthony's responsibilities include setting overall strategic direction for the company and providing day-to-day leadership of the management team.

Prior to founding HPR, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director of Lime Brokerage LLC, a direct market access technology provider. His oversight and leadership drove the creation of robust and advanced trading technology.

Anthony's professional experience includes extensive experience in the data communications industry with leadership roles at Juniper Networks and BBN Systems & Technologies where he oversaw the development of routers, switches and one of the industry's first voice/data multimedia access devices. His startup experience includes building companies to address utility hosting (cloud computing) and print-on-demand technology. He has seven patents currently issued or pending.

Anthony earned an S.B. (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

THOMAS S. WILSON

Co-Founder, Principal and Head of Business Development

Tom is responsible for managing sales and strategic relationships and identifying new business opportunities for the company.

Prior to co-founding HPR, Tom ran High-Volume DMA Sales for the Americas at UBS, and played a key role in starting the company's global investment services business for quantitative asset managers.

Prior to joining UBS, Tom served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Lime Brokerage where he was instrumental in establishing company's market share and position as a leading broker providing high-performance financial technology.

Tom has over 20 years of professional experience developing successful financial technology and brokerage businesses, including Eze Castle Integration and PCS Dunbar Securities.

Tom earned a B.A. in History from St. Lawrence University and is a graduate of The Hotchkiss School.

BRENDAN F. DORAN

Executive Director, Global Enterprise Sales

Brendan joined HPR in June 2017 in a New York City-based sales and business development role.

Prior to joining HPR, Brendan served as Head of Global Sales for Chi-X Global since 2010 where he managed sales and client on-boarding for U.S. firms interested in accessing the Chi-X equity trading platforms in Canada, Japan, and Australia. In addition to these U.S. activities he worked closely with local Chi-X sales teams in each region to establish best practices for client engagement.

Brendan served on the Chi-X Global Executive Committee where he collaborated with senior Chi-X staff exploring strategic and commercial opportunities, as well as product/service enhancements.

From 2007 to 2010, Brendan served as Head of U.S. Sales and Business Development for Chi-X Europe. Prior to joining Chi-X Europe Brendan spent 10 years as an institutional sales trader at Instinet, Morgan Stanley, and Cantor Fitzgerald.

Mr. Doran is a graduate of Iona College.


RACHEL WILKES SWENSON

Director, Corporate Operations

Rachel brings a wide breadth of business expertise to Hyannis Port Research. Prior to joining HPR, Rachel was the Chief Business Development and Finance Officer for The Help: Boston, where she was instrumental in leading and managing the start-up company’s operations while contributing to sales growth and financial oversight.

Prior to joining the startup world, Rachel’s professional journey began at Deloitte & Touché, where she gained extensive experience in tax consulting and client service, focusing on private equity and real estate clients. With a desire to gain private industry knowledge and experience, she joined the finance team at Highland Capital Partners, a venture capital firm. There, Rachel was responsible for portfolio and data analysis, fund accounting and reporting, providing management company support, and the creation of policies and procedures for various functions of the finance department.

Rachel earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University, with a degree in accounting and management. She is a CPA registered with the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy.

BRIAN C. GERMANI

Vice President, Risk and Compliance

Brian brings more than 15 years of governance, risk and compliance experience as well as industry best practices, primarily in the financial services and technology industries. Prior to joining HPR, Brian served as the Chief Compliance Officer of a boutique SEC Registered Investment Advisor and its wholly owned subsidiary broker-dealer where he focused on providing, implementing and reviewing risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Prior to this, Brian was a client service manager within the Risk Assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Boston where he provided consulting services and expertise to a range of complex, global clients focusing on all areas of their businesses, including compliance, risk and regulatory issues.

Brian earned an MBA from Suffolk University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He is a CPA registered with the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy and also a non-practicing Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) as recognized by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Brian also holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 24 exams (currently non- registered).

TIMOTHY G. FIELD

Director, Engineering

Tim joins HPR from iRobot and brings a decade of experience from the software and embedded systems industry, leading teams developing highly complex systems.

Prior to joining HPR, Tim led engineering teams at iRobot that designed and developed cutting edge robotic systems for defense and enterprise consumer markets. In his role, he was responsible for the full life cycle of several products from early prototyping through production releases. Tim is the inventor of multiple patents issued or currently pending.

Tim earned an M.S. and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maine.

RUPERT N. WEBB

Director, Engineering

Before joining HPR, Rupert led engineering teams at Lime Brokerage LLC where he spent over a decade developing applications for high frequency trading systems. Throughout his career in financial technology, Rupert has worked with outstanding groups of engineers. These teams dedicated themselves to building distributed, high-performance applications. Some of this work became trading patents in which Rupert contributed as a co-inventor.

Rupert has also worked in back-office development and operations. His main focus was building robust big data and analytics platforms. These platforms formed the core of various data-processing applications. These applications included products in accounting, market surveillance, risk analysis, etc.

Rupert studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
